Scientific Research
Aside from individual collaborative projects, our platform participates as co-investigator in sponsored research in a several areas. Most of our projects aim to identify metabolites associated with incident disease in longitudinal cohorts in various matrices, plasma, urine, stool, tissues, profiling ~50K individuals to date. On a larger scale, studies aim to determine metabolic profiles associated with of disease risk, clinical phenotypes, and genetic variation in human cohorts. On a smaller scale, we characterize metabolic phenotypes in model systems.
